Building and Grounds Supervisor

Job Duties: Under minimal supervision, the Building and Grounds Supervisor for DART oversees the maintenance, upkeep and functioning of their assigned location (1100 DART Way) including the supervision of DART and contracted staff.

Candidate Requirements: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree from an accredited college or university in construction, facilities management or related field required
Three (3) experience in managing multiple functions of a facility preferred
LEED certification preferred
Universal HVAC Certification preferred
Electrical, Plumbing and/or Engineerís (boiler) license is preferred
Flexibility to work outside normal business hours including occasional weekends to respond to emergencies, call-in or consult with contractors and/or Agency staff
Valid Iowa Driverís License and meet the Authorityís driving criteria
Must reside within 30 minutes of DART's facility to respond to emergency situations on a 24/7 basis

Assistant Director of Space Management

Job Duties:
*Develop data analytics, plans & recommendations re: space requirements, programming & alternatives for physical campus environments to support facility plannng & capital improvements.
*Work w/ Director in the identification, negotiation, resolution & implementation of university's facility planning efforts.
*Integrate space planning with Campus Master Plan administration,& Facilities Planning & Management organization.
*Assist in pre-planning including forecasting, evaltion of current conditions & anticipated changes in university's facility needs.
*Provide leadership in the development of Capital Planning & 5 Year Capital Plan.
*Assist in the definition and development of building feasibility studies & building programs.
*Assist in defining goals of study, assessing program needs,coordination w/ client, evaluating alternative solutions.
*Provides for smooth transition from preplanning to building programming & schematic design.
*Provides leadership to Planning team members and collaborates with campus planning & facilties staff to coordinate project activities and requirements.
